Zamboni Chargers
Most of Canadas skating and hockey arenas use Zamboni machines to groom the ice surface. More and more of these machines use battery powered electric motors in place of the propane powered ones which pollute the indoor environment. Staticon Zamboni chargers are on-site to boost and recharge these batteries. These chargers are available in 80 V (40 cells) versions for lead acid batteries in 520 t0 940 Ah capacities. They feature the standard 8 hour charge program (an automated constant current boost charge followed by a constant voltage finish charge). Zamboni chargers are natural convection cooled and CSA certified.
